Kettlebell Workshop Series: Part Three: Kettlebell Sport

  • RCF Powerbottom 1313 East Pine Street Seattle, WA, 98122 United States (map)

Curious about competitive kettlebell lifting? Think olympic lifting (Jerk, Snatch and Clean and Jerk) but with kettlebells instead of a barbell. Oh, and instead of a max weight, it’s max reps in either 5 or 10 minutes.

WHAT WE’LL BE LEARNING:

  • The differences between a hardstyle and competition kettlebell

  • How technique changes when lifting max weight vs. max reps

  • Technique Tips: How to hold the bell in the Rack position, the difference between hardstyle and competition postures

  • Movement: Swings, Cleans, Jerk, Snatch, Clean and Jerk (Long Cycle)

  • Is competitive kettlebell lifting right for you?

Who is this for?
This class is geared towards those curious about different kettlebell lifting styles and want to learn something new. All levels welcome.
