This year had a lot of growth in it. I had to keep reminding myself that even the tallest of trees started from a seedling, at that my journey must be viewed from both the ground and the sky.
2019 in Review
Challenge Accepted:
Achieved CMS Rank for 10’ 16kg Biathlon after chasing it for 3 years
Tried flying trapeze and climbing outdoors for the first time
Completed my BioForce Conditioning Coach Certification
Grew the Kettlebell team #teampurplerain

Had 5 of my students compete this year
Continued to push for change and do the work in a healthy work environment
Celebrated 11 years with Conor
Set boundaries and kept them

Failed at keeping up with annual health checkups, sorry mom
Created too much waste/bought unnecessary things

What’s Working?
Creating a positive environment and culture within the kettlebell team and gym
Changing the language I use in daily life
Acknowledging my own past emotional trauma and how it has shaped me/how I will change it
Giving myself meditation time for reflection and moments of stillness
What is Not Working?
A schedule that is determined by other people’s needs more than my own
Trying to do everything on my own
Not making room for personal time when work gets busy
How Can I Fix What’s Not Working?
I am literally just copying these from last year, because they still need fixing:
Make those appointments w/the doctor and dentist
Slow the f*ck down, there’s time (set a schedule, priortize to-dos and schedule them out for the week)
Buy only what is necessary/plan better, treat yo’self only when you really, really want it
